Finnish company Peikko is to deliver rock foundation technology to the soon opening wind park Tindafjellet in Southern Norway.

Peikko Group’s Norwegian subsidiary Peikko Norge AS will deliver all of the steel components used in the three foundations, as well as take care of their design and structural calculations.

The deal includes FATBAR rock anchors, tower adapter plates, drilling templates and foundation reinforcement that will be delivered in September 2017. The goal is to open the wind park in February 2018.

“Peikko’s in-house component production and dedicated foundation design team were essential in this project with a short construction time,” says Johannes Lundal, project developer at the main contractor Risa AS. “The fast and smooth delivery route from Finland to Norway also ensures a timely delivery to the site.”

Peikko Group Corporation supplies concrete connections and composite structures as one of the global leaders. Today the company has subsidiaries in 30 countries.
