Finnish ecological design company Nordic Hysteria’s product and manufacturing concept has won the annual international Green Good Design award.

Green Good Design is the most widely recognised design award for promoting ecological production and green technologies. The award also aims at repairing worldwide environments and improving quality of life. The competition is organised by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design, European Centre for Architecture Art Design, and Urban Studies.

The award winner Nordic Hysteria introduces a new combination of manufacturing methods and design in the Finnish wood processing industry. In addition to a minimal ecological footprint, the solution aims at fresh, three-dimensional expression of form.

Nordic Hysteria’s solutions are designed by Tapio Anttila and all of the company’s products are manufactured in-house in Finland.
