New Nokia phones to retail for USD 26
Finnish startup HMD Global has announced that its forthcoming Nokia 150 and Nokia 150 Dual SIM will carry an ERP of 26 US dollars, before local taxes and subsidies.
Equipped with a 2.4″ screen, the phones will include features such as a built-in FM radio and MP3 player. Those seeking a wave of nostalgia will rejoice in the knowledge that pre-installed games include Snake Xenzia.
Furthermore, HMD Global’s phones are equipped with a camera with a LED flash, with photos shareable via Bluetooth. The phones charge with a standard micro-USB charger and come with a LED torchlight.
The Nokia 150 boasts battery life of an earlier era, with talk time lasting up to 22 hours, and standby times of up to 31 days for the Single SIM and 25 days for the Dual SIM variant.
The phones are set to roll out first in APAC, IMEA and Europe in the first quarter next year.
