New Finnish gaming company heading for the US market

Pixel Ceremony, a new Finnish startup, released its first game Paper Fruits and has its sights set on the US markets.

Paper Fruits can be downloaded for free and on its release date made the list of the most downloaded applications. After a short test period in Finland, the company will be heading for the United States.

Based on minimalistic graphics, Paper Fruits is a word-based puzzle that is easy to play but which challenges your brain. The mobile game expands the players’ vocabulary and requires problem-solving skills.

The game also features a live-action multiplayer game that can be played against Facebook friends or random opponents.

Pixel Ceremony’s small team includes game developers and programmers who have worked on games for the well-known international games publishers Chillingo and 6waves.
