The translation rights to three of author Mauri Kunnas’ children’s books have been sold to the United States.

Archipelago Books in New York has bought the worldwide English-language translation rights to the books Goodnight Mr. Clutterbuck, The Seven Wonders Of Mr. Clutterbuck and The Out-Of-This-World Space Book.

The popularity of Kunnas’ books also continues in Russia with Rech Publishers purchasing the translation rights for five of his titles.

Kunnas’ books have been translated into 35 languages and they have been published in 36 countries in addition to Finland.

The multi-award-winning Mauri Kunnas is a graphical artist, author, artist and cartoonist who is best known for his many popular children’s books. In addition to Mr. Clutterbuck, other popular books are the Doghill series and The Canine Kalevala and The Seven Dog Brothers, children’s adaptations of Finnish classics.

Kunnas’ anarchic cartoons have also been translated into several languages.
