Luin Spa unleashes luxury in Japan
Home spa products by Finnish Luin Spa are now available in luxury department stores in Tokyo, Sapporo and Nagoya in Japan.
The three department stores are Isetan, Daimaru and Mitsukoski. According to Luin Spa, it’s been after a fair in Tokyo in July that their local importer has been busy.
“Scandinavian style is on the rise in Japan and Finnishness is of huge interest,” says importer Rikako Ishihara. “It’s absolutely amazing that the reception has been this positive, and we believe that Luin Spa will grow in Japan phase by phase.”
Luin Spa home spa products have been on the market for two years. Co-founder Mari Luodes finds it unbelievable that the company has achieved this much already.
Luin Spa is very happy with its importer in Japan.
“We can’t just step into the Japanese market from Finland,” adds co-founder Noora Mustajärvi. “The market is very different and requires local expertise.”
