Finnish startup Liid has closed a 250 000-euro investment round.

The Helsinki-based company is using the capital boost to push its app further onto the global marketplace, as well as grow its online sales channel and number of employees.

Liid takes care of the mundane manual tasks normally completed by sales people by registering activities such as phone calls, emails and meetings to CRM systems.

The app works in the background and is currently tailored for Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics CRM. It can also scan business cards and is equipped with a built-in personal assistant that aids salespeople with daily tasks and makes timely suggestions regarding contacting appropriate persons.

The data collected by the app can be used for analysing the sales process, as well as providing organisations with information on how to improve their sales operations.
