Lemminkäinen on the road to success in Norway
Finnish construction company Lemminkäinen has been contracted by the Norwegian Public Road Administration to rebuild two roads in northern and western Norway.
Lemminkäinen signed an agreement with the Norwegian Public Road Administration’s Northern Region for the rebuilding of the FV6 Hagebyveien road in Harstad. Construction is due to start in May 2017 and will be completed in November 2018.
The roadwork includes logistics such as sidewalks, public transport stops, concrete and stone walls, and water and sewage pipelines.
Lemminkäinen is also going to rebuild the FV556 Hjellestadvegen road between Blomsterdalen and the Ådland bridge, after signing an agreement with the Norwegian Public Road Administration’s Western Region.
The project is also due to start in May 2017 and will be completed in December 2019. It includes road widening, building cycle tracks with sidewalks and the construction of a 78-metre concrete bridge.
The value of the contracts is approximately 20 million euros.
