Finnish elevator and escalator specialist KONE has landed a further two orders in China.

The first of which sees the company outfitting 10 stations of the Zhengzhou metro line 1 with a total of 20 elevators and 109 escalators.

The project is entering its second development phase of construction, with the metro line eventually being extended by a total of 16.1 kilometres.

Elsewhere, Kone is to deliver 111 elevators to the Nanjing Kingfine Center, an office and residential development in the southern city of Nanjing.

Located near the Baijia Lake area, the development is to consist of one 168-metre office building, four residential towers and one commercial podium.

These two deals come on the heels of KONE’s previously reported order to equip three new high-end residential towers in Liuzhou.
