Finnish workspace solutions company Kinnarps is to receive the iF Product Design Award 2017 for its new product ranges Spaces and Fields.

The iF Product Design Award is one of the world’s largest and most prestigious design awards. The awards ceremony will take place on 10 March in Munich.

This year, almost 5 600 entries from almost 2 700 participants from nearly 60 countries were submitted. The disciplines are product design, communication design, packaging design, service design, architecture, interior architecture and professional concept, all of which have various different subcategories.

“We are of course happy and honoured that our products have received awards of this nature,” says Elisabeth Slunge, director of global range and communications at Kinnarps. “The iF Product Design Award is a highly prestigious award and proves that Kinnarps creates world class furniture. Both Space and Fields are a range of furniture for the modern day workplace, adapted to be flexible and meet the individual demands and requirements of today’s working life.”

Kinnarps was founded in 1942. To this day, it continues to be a 100 per cent family-owned enterprise. The company is currently one of Europe’s largest provider of workspace interior solutions with sales operations on about 40 countries.
