The Dutch subsidiary of Heeros Systems, a company producing financial administration solutions, will open a service centre in Rotterdam, Holland on 1 July.

“Our Dutch operations are growing well. We only recently signed a contract with two new clients and we believe that opening a local service centre will boost our attractiveness even more,” says managing director and CEO Matti Lattu.

Heeros has had business operations in the Netherlands since 2013. The service centre currently employs one person, who will be joined by a Finnish staff member for the summer.

Heeros is also planning to set up business operations in Sweden over the course of this year. In addition to Finland, the Netherlands and Sweden, Heeros’s electronic solutions have buyers and users in Norway, Estonia, Russia and Poland.

According to Heeros, only a fraction of financial administration has been equipped with e-solutions and the degree to which this has been implemented varies greatly. Finland is further along in the electronification of financial administration than other countries.

“Our goal in terms of growth is for 10 per cent of our net sales to stem from our overseas operations in the next few years,” says Lattu.
