Finnish outdoors sports equipment company Halti will expand to the French market. Halti has signed a multi-year co-operation agreement with French Tecnica Group.

The co-operation concerns mainly importing Halti products to the French market.

“Halti continues to look for new growth in key European sport apparel markets. With its 1.9-billion-euro turnover, France is one of the leading markets in Europe,” says Jukka-Pekka Vuori, CEO of Halti.

“Co-operation with Tecnica Group is an important step in getting Halti brand finally integrated in the demanding consumer markets in France. Tecnica Group is a traditional, strong brand, making it a natural partner for us. The agreement now signed increases Halti’s credibility as a growing trademark in Europe.”

Founded in 1930, Tecnica Group has long experience working in global sport clothing business. The company’s head office is located in Annecy, northern France. Annecy is the home of an outdoor company cluster in the French Alps.
