Fiskars wins six awards in the USA
Six of Fiskars’ products have been awarded prestigious Good Design Awards, which emphasises quality design of the highest form, function and aesthetic.
Fiskars’ winning designs included its: Tree Pruners, Forged Garden Cutting Tools, Softgrip Kids Scissors, Total Control Precisions Scissors, Easy Change Detail Knives and Gifting Board.
“Design and innovation have been at the core of the Fiskars brand for over three centuries,” says Fiskars Americas president Paul Tonnesen. “We are honored to be recognised with an award as prestigious as Good Design for our commitment to superior product design across the gardening, crafting and kids & school categories.”
The Good Design 2016 Awards marks the 66th year of the oldest and most prestigious design awards program organised worldwide and is granted by the Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design, together with the European Centre for Architecture, Art, Design and Urban Studies.
All the winning products can be found on the Chicago Athenaeum’s website and will be published in the Good Design yearbook for 2016–2017.
