Lindström has acquired Enviro Wipes, a UK market leader in supplying recyclable industrial wipes.

Based in Bradford, Enviro Wipes provides, collects, launders and delivers multi-use cotton wipes across the UK and Ireland, and sells a range of products such as gloves and storage bins.

One of the leading textile service companies in Europe, Lindström has been present in the UK workwear services market for 15 years.

According to Soresh Meeda, managing director of Lindström UK, the acquisition is a part of the company’s strategy for growing its operations in the UK, as textile wiper services are becoming important and integral to its offering and provide an increasing amount of turnover.

The sum of the acquisition has not been disclosed. Enviro Wipes’ operations will remain unchanged after the sale, and all of its staff are retained by the new owner.

Lindström operates in 24 European and Asian countries and employs 3 200 staff. Lindström’s other site in the UK, located in Bedford, continues to focus on workwear.
