Apple launch sends Everywear Games soaring
It’s been a memorable week for Finland-based gaming company Everywear Games and its new title for smartwatches, Field Day.
Everywear Games could not have hoped for a better launch of Field Day on the App Store on Tuesday. The company attracted a swell of interest last week, when its new release was featured by Apple during the launch of its next generation Apple Watch, reports Finnish business daily Kauppalehti.
CEO of Everywear Games Aki Järvilehto does not reveal exactly how the Finnish gaming company made it to the spotlight, but admits it took a lot of work.
“For every game developer it is a dream come true to get your game to an Apple event, with Apple COO Jeff Williams introducing your game,” says Järvilehto.
After the positive response, Everywear Games is now aiming even higher.
“Our goal is to create ‘the game’ for all the leading game categories on smartwatches,” the CEO declares.
This is the latest in a bout of good news recently for Everywear Games, after the company announced it landed seed funding of 1.2 million euros from True Ventures last year.
