A new Finnish startup, Toroidion, has announced plans to unveil the world’s most powerful electric supercar at Top Marques Monaco, the luxury car show, in April.

Preliminary details about the Toroidion 1MW claim that it will be fully electric and develop one megawatt of power (hence the 1MW name). That equates to 1 341 hp.

The Toroidion 1MW Concept has been developed and hand-built in Finland as a two-seater with round headlights, an oval front grille, and a sloping roofline with very short overhangs at the rear.

Top Marques Monaco, which is set to take place from April 16–19, will showcase around 60 supercars and customized vehicles.

More details about the Toroidion 1MW are expected to to be revealed prior to launch.
