Finnish and Canadian smart IT combine forces
M-Files has strengthened its position as a pioneer of smart data management, by acquiring Canadian technology company Apprento.
Thanks to the artificial intelligence developed by Apprento, M-Files can now offer easier and more efficient ways to manage business information and processes.
“Artificial intelligence, analytics and automation allows intelligent information management that makes it possible for the users to quickly find the information they need regardless of what time it is and what system they use,” says the managing director of M-Files, Miika Mäkitalo. “At the same time M-Files will remove information silos and offer a fast and easy access to the right information from all of the central systems and devises of the business.”
M-Files offers software solutions for smart data management and is active in over 100 different countries. Earlier this summer the company expanded its activities in Europe by acquiring the French company StreamDesign.
