Kuhmo Chamber Music Festival July 11—24

Kaija Saariaho, Krzysztof Penderecki, Sebastian Fagerlund, Viktor Ullman (with his absolute masterpiece, The King of Atlantis), Carlo Gesualdo, Louis Armstrong — the poetess of sound, the nonconformist, the young and daring, the courageous, the dangerous and the best voice of the century, have all accepted to honour with their presence and in their own way the two weeks ceremony of chamber music.
