Two players in the smart waste management sector, Finnish Enevo and British Wybone have entered into a partnership that will help optimise recycling and waste management in the UK.

The companies will bring a new MLB/112 XLi Intelligent Litter Bin to the market. The intelligent bin uses Enevo’s smart sensors and big data analytics enabling city councils to monitor the fill-level and optimise the collection schedule and logistics.

Wybone joins the growing group of bin manufacturers that are taking part in the Enevo Bin Partnership program.

“The partnership program offers traditional bin manufacturers a cost-efficient way to enter the intelligent litter bin market,” says Milja Paju, head of the Bin Partnership Program at Enevo.
