Finnish Enersize has agreed to install a system for compressed air measurement and analysis in Scanias’ manufacturing plant in the Swedish city of Södertälje.

The latest installation of Enersize’s energy efficiency system marks the seventh such agreement Enersize has reached this year, with the remaining six done on the Chinese market.

Enersize is currently engaged in a co-operation with the major Swedish automotive industry manufacturer Scania, where the Finnish company is testing new technology in Scanias’ Södertälje plant together with Scanias department for Energy & Maintenance.

“It is gratifying that we now with Scanias and Enersize co-operation got the opportunity to put their system into real production use here with us in Södertälje,” comments Roland Dahlström, Energy & Maintenance manager at Scania. “The need and possibilities for the manufacturing industry for this type of deep insight in compressed air systems can not be underestimated.”

Preparations for the installation of Enersize’s system is now underway and is expected to be finalised in the first quarter of 2018, after which the two parties are planning an extended installation that also includes energy measurements, energy efficiency analysis and leak management.
