Critical Force hooks EUR 4 million in seed funding
Finland-based Critical Force, known for its online shooter games for mobile devices, has landed one of the largest seed round investments in the Finnish gaming industry.
Finnish gaming company Critical Force has secured a four million-euro investment, after partnering with South Korean video game development and publishing conglomerate, NHN Entertainment.
According to the company, the investment lends plenty of stability and firepower for further growth and indicates a bright future for its vision of mobile e-sports.
The collaboration also bestows access to the Asian gaming market, as NHNE will publish the developer’s first title, Critical Ops, in South Korea, China, Japan, India and Southeast Asia.
Critical Force, founded in 2012, focuses on portable real-time online multiplayer games. Currently, Critical Ops, is in soft launch on iOS and Android, and has already accumulated nearly 10 million downloads.
