Caverion and Pöyry land deals in Central Europe
Caverion has been awarded a new project contract for TGW Logistics Group in Austria, and Pöyry a detail engineering services assignment in the Netherlands.
Caverion’s deal with TGW is worth 4.4 million euros and includes electricity and ventilation, as well as the associated automation technology and photovoltaic facility, for a new business and logistics centre in Marchtrenk. The new complex will be used for implementing future-orientated technologies, such as a photovoltaic system and e-filling stations.
Caverion provides energy-efficient solutions to buildings and infrastructure. TGW Logistics Group is a systems provider of dynamic, automated and turnkey logistics solutions worldwide.
The construction will run until the end of April 2018.
In the Netherlands, Finnish engineering company Pöyry has landed a detail engineering services assignment from Smurfit Kappa for the modification of the company’s paper machine. The assignment comprises various types of engineering.
Smurfit Kappa is one of the world’s leading producers of packaging papers. The goal of the rebuilding is to increase the operating speed as well as the production quality.
