Steam of Life showcased in the United States

Nordisk FilmSteam of Life -documentary film portrays Finnish men speaking straight from the heart.The award-winning Finnish documentary film 'Steam of Life' (Miesten vuoro) has been chosen as the only Nordic movie to be showcased at the DocuWeeks event held in the United States. The film will be shown in Los Angeles and New York on 30.7.-19.8.
DocuWeeks is a public theatrical exhibition of new documentary films, where all the showcased films have a chance to be selected as Oscar nominees. This year's event will show movies from 17 countries from all over the world.
Steam of Life has received acclaim in several international competitions for instance in Tel Aviv, Warsaw, Pärnu and at the Silverdocs festival in the United States.
The movie portrays Finnish men in sauna, speaking of their lives, love, death, birth and friendships. The film has been directed by Joonas Berghäll and Mika Hotakainen.
