Thursday, 18 March, 2010
Finnish property management company Ovenia Oy has established a subsidiary company in St. Petersburg in order to expand into the Russian market. The company believes that there is a demand for the experience and knowledge of Finnish property management, particularly in the St. Petersburg area. According to CEO of Ovenia Mika Valtonen the property management market is developing rapidly in Russia.
‒ We have been building up a network and carrying out market surveys for the past couple of years. Many of our customers operate in Russia, so it is natural to expand our operations and offer these customers local services also outside of Finland, explains Valtonen.
Ovenia provides property management services for property investors and corporate clients. The company administers property portfolios amounting to approximately 6 million square metres in different parts of Finland. In 2009 the company’s turnover was approximately 14.2 million euros. Ovenia employs 140 property experts and has offices in Helsinki, Lahti, Turku, Tampere, Jyväskylä, Vaasa, Kuopio, Lappeenranta, Oulu and now also in St Petersburg.
