visitfinland.com serves travelers in ten languages
MEK/Krista KeltanenThe Finnish Tourist Board MEK has launched an entirely revised, brand new travel portal at www.visitfinland.com. The internet portal serves foreigners in nine different languages. The tenth language is Finnish.
The different services of the whole of Finnish travel industry can be accessed through the portal. Publishing basic information on travel services is free of charge. The prices of chargeable publications are graded according to different business sectors and the extent of published information. The aim is to publish as versatile an introduction to tourism in Finland as possible.
The portal offers a generous information package on the basics of travelling in Finland. It includes descriptions of regional travel destinations, tourist centres and cities. The range of travel experiences, accommodation and catering services are all introduced in the VisitFinland-online guide.
Travel Planner is a tool that travelers can use for designing a personalized travel schedule and booking a number of services right away, online. For instance bookings for hotels, flights, trains and cruise ships can all be done through the portal.
