Vaahto delivers a shoe-press to Fajar Paper in Indonesia

Vaahto Pulp & Paper Machinery has received an order from Fajar Wisesa Tbk (Fajar Paper) in Indonesia for Vaahto shoe-press to paper machine PM2 rebuild. The delivery includes a modern, fully hydraulic Vaahto shoe-press with necessary felt loops.

Installation supervision, training and start-up services are an integral part of Vaahto's delivery. The annual production capacity of the Jakarta-based factory is almost 1 million tonne of packaging board.

The new PM2 now being rebuilt has specialized in test-liner production. Fajar PM2 is 4.3 metres wide and it can reach 600 m/min production speed. The line will be shut down for the rebuild in June 2011. The target of the rebuild is to improve the line's production capacity by increasing significantly the solid content of the web after press section.
