Two Finnish technology companies exhibit at the “We Are the World” pavilion in Shanghai
Ball-IT Ball-IT’s Blobo game console is a round ball.Finnish technology companies Ball-IT and Bluegiga have been invited to exhibit their expertise at the Shanghai World EXPO 2010 "We Are the World" pavilion. The pavilion, which was opened in the beginning of May, hosts approximately a hundred companies from all over the world. Ball-IT and Bluegiga are the only representatives from Scandinavia.
Bluegiga will deliver the "We Are the World" pavilion a Bluetooth-based wireless solution, which helps the visitors to receive real-time updates of the building's events straight into their mobile phones. The company, which was established in 2000, is a specialist of advanced wireless Bluetooth solutions. Bluegiga has delivered its products to over 65 countries worldwide.
Ball-IT will introduce the Shanghai World EXPO visitors to the motion controlled Blobo game console, which encourages visitors to move around paced by local celebrities. Since 2005 Ball-IT has concentrated on developing and manufacturing motion control solutions for games.
The "We are the World" pavilion of Shanghai World EXPO is a gives its visitors a glimpse into the Chinese life and lifestyle. The pavilion introduces to the visitors how different events of life are connected to different technology solutions and how technology can help to preserve important human values.
Over 70 million visitors are expected to attend the World EXPO, which will last for six months. The "We Are the World" pavilion is an exception to the other exhibition areas andd spaces since only a limited number of visitors can enter the pavilion at a time.
