Transfluent, the start-up offering near real time translation services, has launched a new service, Transfluent for Facebook, for global corporate clients which have a presence on Facebook. The company is offering to translate the companies Facebook content almost in real time for 60 different languages.

The Transfluent for Facebook enables each user to have an access to the content with they own mother language. Corporates are able to comment and share their information with their clients across language barriers. The whole process is done automatically, although the translation services are based on the actions of the crowd sourced human translators.

In Helsinki, the NOMO Jeans which sells tailored jeans has been testing Transfluent’s latest offering for couple of months. The company also has presence in Germany, and most of the company’s clients come outside Finland.

Facebook and Twitter are our main communication channels. It is increasingly important that our clients are able to comment and share their views with their friends using their own language, comments NOMO Jeans CEO Mari Silvennoinen.

Transfluent was established by Xiha which is known for its cross-cultural exchange community. Transfluent targets business with a similar plan in mind. It currently works with Facebook, Twitter and WordPress.
