Lehtikuva/Marja AirioTime spent at home by reading and listening to music is experienced as very meaningful, as well as time spent exercising or enjoying cultural activities. Despite the simplicity of living a joyful life, money is considered relatively important in providing most memorable and versatile experiences in life.
The most common wishes were good health (67 per cent) and rush-free and well-balanced every day life (56 per cent). Although many Finns dream of owning a home, a car or a summer house, they were nevertheless much less important than family, health and well-balanced every day life.
Travelling was also high in the priorities. 43 per cent of the participants stated that they would invest on travel if they had an extra 50 000 Euros in their disposal. 37 per cent of the participants would rather spend the money on paying off a mortgage or any other debt. Although free time was considered to be very important, only 7 per cent would actually spend the money for taking a sabbatical.
