Suntrica develops sun-chargeable batteries
Suntrica’s Solar StrapTM can be attached to a rucksack or belt with hook-and-loop fasteners such as Velcro.The product innovation of Suntrica, which was established in 2006, has achieved a worldwide reputation rapidly. The company specializes in ergonomic charging solutions that extend the useful life of battery-operated devices and eliminate the need for a charger with a mains connection.
Suntrica´s weather-resistant solar chargers accumulate energy by using a solar panel, storing it in an internal battery for immediate or later use.
- A fully-loaded solar battery can fully charge a typical mobile phone as quickly as a normal mains connection. Our most typical customers are those who use mobile phones or mp3 players, says CEO Jouko Häyrynen.
The supply of additional energy for a mobile phone or navigation equipment can be crucially important in demanding conditions regardless of time or place.
- The aim is rapid growth on the main markets, where the need for solar chargers is the greatest. Our products already sell globally and our distribution network is growing all the time, Häyrynen says.
Suntrica will be represented in North Africa Com-fair in Egypt in October.
