Stonesoft expands to Saudi Arabia

Finnish provider of network security solutions Stonesoft has announced its new partnership agreements with four leading Saudi Arabian system integrators. The company is also in the process of establishing a representative office in the capital city of Riyadh.

Stonesoft’s local partners have a strong focus on ICT and network security. They also have well-established clientele consisting of organizations operating in sectors important to Stonesoft, such as the government, finance, telecom operators and the oil and gas industry.

According to Stonesoft CEO Ilkka Hiidenheimo the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is going through a dynamic development phase in the usage of TCP/IP networks. Local organisations and companies are expanding their IT investments in order to meet the growing demands on their networks.

– Security threats are continuously increasing and businesses must be able to secure reliable network connections under all circumstances. I believe that we have great chances of succeeding in the Saudi Arabian market, says Hiidenheimo.
