St. Lapland export network markets Ruka-Kuusamo region internationally
MEK / Kimmo Salminen St. Lapland export network will productise eight companies in the Ruka-Kuusamo region, packaging them initially for Central European and Russian tourists.Tourism companies in the Ruka-Kuusamo region will boost their international marketing by joining forces under a new brand, St. Lapland. The export network, which is organized by the internationalisation expert association Finpro, consists of eight companies offering different travel services ranging from accommodation to recreation and food.
The initial target markets of St. Lapland export network are Central European countries and Russia.
The companies within the export network can use the services of a mutually elected export manager and Finpro's experts, who assist the companies with their endeavors. The export network brings together companies, which compliment each other's products and services. Finpro is continuously running, or in the process of designing 20-30 active export networks for different sectors from around the world.
The Export Manager of St. Lapland is Jaana Sirkiä, who has previously worked as the sales manager of Arctic Safaris, and as the manager of customer relations at Finnair in Switzerland. Sirkiä enters her new position from her previous post in the international sales team of the wilderness adventure tour operator Eräsetti Wild North.
