SongHi invites everyone to make music

songhientertainment.com SongHi aims at world conquest being simultaneously a music game and a social networking platform.
Finnish SongHi music making game has been launched. The game, which aims at wide international success, has been predicted to gain success alongside the 2010 FIFA World Cup. The players are challenged to create their own Cup songs.  

In SongHi, everyone can make their own music. The game is free; all that is needed is a computer with an internet connection.

The user has access to a virtual studio room with instruments. One’s virtual star avatar can be styled and better instruments ca be purchased. Some purchases are paid for with virtual coins earned in the game, while others need to be paid for with real money. Music can be shared with others, and players can comment on each others music.

SongHi’s first launch partner in Finland is Sony Music. The new service is being boosted by Shakira’s Waka Waka (This Time For Africa), which is the official song of the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa.

In the Waka Waka-competition the participants can make their own World Cup songs, and challenge their friends to take part in the pursuit. Everyone can vote for their favorite song. The winning song will be chosen by SongHi expert jury, although public voting will also have an impact on the final outcome. The creator of the winner piece will be offered a VIP-trip to Shakira’s European concert.
