Ruukki delivers bridge components to Russia, Poland and Sweden.

Rautaruukki Rautaruukki has delivered components for bridges all over the world. Here one of the bridges crossing the great Danube river in Hungary.

Rautaruukki has signed contracts for delivering components for bridge projects in Vladivostok, Russia; Warsaw, Poland and Sweden. The value of the three contracts totals 5,5 million Euros. The components will be made at Ruukki's Toijala plant in Finland.

Vladivostok's Golden Horn -bridge will be nearly 1.4 kilometers long, linking two of the city's districts. The northern bridge under construction in Warsaw will be 800 meters long and crosses the river Vistula. The bridge will be completed in 2011.

Rautaruukki will also deliver steel structures for three road bridges and one railway bridge for Sweden's E6 road project. The bridges will be built on the section between Skee and Ejgst near Strömstand.

Ruukki's customer in Russia is Kurganstalmost JSC, in Poland Vistal Gdynia S.A. and in Sweden Peab Ab.

Rautaruukki has operations in 27 countries and employs 12,200 people. The company's net sales totaled 3.9 billion Euros in 2008. The company uses Ruukki as its marketing name.
