Rautakesko expands in Russia

Rautakesko Rautakesko’s 11th K-rauta in Russia was opened on March 6th in Tula.
Rautakesko’s K-rauta chain continues expanding in Russia. The country’s 11th K-rauta store was opened on March 6th in the city of Tula. Tula is a rapidly developing industrial city of 600,000 inhabitants located 170 kilometres south of Moscow.

Russia’s first K-rauta opened in Jaroslavl in spring 2009. There are nine K-rauta stores in St. Petersburg area. The new store in Tula is K-rauta chain´s second store in Moscow´s catchment area.

– Now it´s a good time to expand K-rauta chain in Russia. Our experiences from St. Petersburg and Jaroslavl provide insight in the development of the chain business also in other areas. The next store will be opened in Kaluga, south-west of Moscow in early April, says Rautakesko´s Country Director for Russia Mikko Pasanen.
