Rapid growth of eCommerce

eCommerce increased by 16 per cent in the second quarter of this year in Finland compared with the corresponding period last year. It was also up by five per cent on the previous quarter.

The Vilkas Group's eCommerce index involves about a third of all the eStores in Finland, i.e. more than 800.

At present, purchases at eStores are less frequent but more is acquired at one time, the average value of an order having risen to 104 euros.

The Vilkas Group is an eCommerce service provider that supplies eStores and ancillary services that support the success of online merchants.
