Primula Deli builds a large-scale production unit in Järvenpää

Primula Deli has launched the biggest project of its history. The new production and logistics centre in the Southern Finnish town of Järvenpää will be opened already next year. The total value of the project is 35 million Euros, which makes it the biggest current project investment made in Finland. The construction work of the new 13,000 square meter premises will be started immediately. The factory's production is expected to start in the beginning of the third quarter of 2010.

- Primula will have excellent premises for increasing its production in the bread and convenience food markets. The operational efficiency of Primula Deli, combined with ecological efficiency themes, such as small carbon footprint and the LEED certification of the premises, will bring us a differentiating and sustaining competitive advantage when the recession will turn into an upswing in the forthcoming years, says the CEO of Primula, Juha Valkamo.

The laying of Primula Deli's foundation stone will be celebrated on Tuesday October 6th. The guest of honor will be the Minister of the Environment, Paula Lehtomäki.
