Pöyry consults the world’s largest wastewater tunnel project in Mexico

Pöyry has been awarded a project by the Mexican Comisión Nacional del Agua to provide specialized advisory services during the construction of the largest wastewater tunnel in the world. The tunnel will be 62 kilometres long and 200 metres deep. The value of Pöyry's assignment is 6.1 million euros.

The consulting services provided by Pöyry cover the scheduling, risk management, interface management, performance monitoring of the tunnel boring machines and the installation of Pöyry's 2DOC underground data management system.

Pöyry has also been awarded four new contracts to Brazil. They relate to the expansion and modernization of the Sao Paulo metro. The value of Pöyry’s assignment totals about 3.5 million euros.

As one of the largest rail systems in the world, the Sao Paulo metro and suburban rail serve more than five million customers daily.
