Pöyry consults a dam project in Czech Republic and a catalyst plant in Austria

Energy consultancy Pöyry has been awarded two important consulting contracts to Central Europe.

In the Czech Republic Pöyry will operate as a leader of a consortium, which will design an upgrade for an existing dam and its ancillary structures in the city of Jablonec nad Nisou in Northern Bohemia. Pöyry has also been awarded a contract for developing a basic engineering package and supplying related services for Borealis AG's semi-commercial catalyst plant located in Linz, Austria.

The value of Pöyry’s services for the flood protection project in Czech Republic total 1.4 million euros, while the total budget for the project is approximately 16 million euros. The value of the contract between Pöyry and Borealis AG has not been disclosed, but the total investment cost for the whole catalyst plant is approximately 75 million euros.
