Outotec
Outotec has agreed with the First Quantum Minerals Limited Projects Office based in Perth, Australia, for the delivery of flotation, thickening and automation technologies for several projects around the world. The total value of the contracts to Finland, Zambia and Mauritania totals over 20 million euros.

The orders include the delivery of 14 units of Outotec TankCell 300 flotation cells and 54 smaller TankCell units for nickel and copper concentrate production for the Kevitsa project, located in Sodankylä, northern Finland. The delivery complements the earlier agreed supply of Outotec grinding mills for the same project.

Kansanshi's copper and cobalt concentrator plant in Zambia will also increase its production by six Outotec TankCell 300 units. The plant has been using Outotec flotation technology for several years already, and has found it profitable and reliable.

Guelb Moghrein gold and copper concentrator plant in Mauretania will also receive a delivery of Outotec automation technology for optimizing its flotation process. The flotation optimization project expands the current flotation expert systems supplied and commissioned previously by Outotec.
