Nokia and Facebook take mobile market by storm

CEO Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo has not yet joined the community.Mobile phone giant Nokia which is looking for a foothold on the internet community sites has agreed on a partnership with Facebook. According to Nokia the social networking sites have become the most important trends on the internet. They also have a role as vanguard to the mobile appliance manufacturers.
The CEO of Nokia, Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo, has worked hard to push Nokia forward, turning it from a mere appliance manufacturer to a company offering online services. Many adversities have also taken place - the Ovi services, which were launched recently, have gained also criticism.
The Executive Vice President of the Marketing Unit at Nokia, Anssi Vanjoki highlighted in Stuttgart that Nokia will not take it easy now when it already has gained leadership in the mobile phone market. On the contrary, Nokia intends to take the mobile market by storm for instance through Facebook.
To facilitate for the new partnership with Facebook Nokia introduced three new mobile phones to the market on Wednesday in Nokia World-event in Stuttgart.
Nokia N97 Mini is a smaller version of the N97 model. It has stylish stainless steel cues and 3,2 inch touch screen. Nokia X6 is a music device equipped with a 32 Gb memory and a touch screen. Nokia X3 is the first Series 40-platform equipped device, which supports the Nokia Ovi-store. It features a built-in FM radio antenna and 3,2 megapixel camera.
