Nine Finnish growth companies within the technology sector have been selected among the 2010 Red Herring 100 Europe winners. Important winning criteria were for instance strategic competitiveness, commercial viability and innovativeness of the companies’ products.

The Finnish Red Herring 100 Europe listed companies comprise Cellictica, Digium, Flowdock, GigsWiz.com, Ideakone, Pancomp International, Red Solution Finland, Sibesonke and Snoobi. The winners were announced at the finale held in Paris on May 27th. The finalists were 200 Europe’s most advanced technology companies.

Red Herring is one of the world’s most esteemed medias dedicated to the business of technology. The annual competition chooses Europe’s most promising growth companies within the technology sector from hundreds of companies.

– Despite the economic situation there were a plenty of good and innovative companies with high quality products, so choosing the winners from such a mass was not easy. However, the jury was able to recognize the exceptional potential in the winners who will certainly achieve a great success, says Alex Vieux, CEO of Red Herring.
