Nine Finnish companies have been selected as finalists for Red Herring’s Top 100 Europe awards.
The list recognises the year’s most promising and innovative private technology ventures from the European business region.
Equipment and coating technology supplier, Beneq; IT companies Vilant Systems and Forte Netservices; Valoya, provider of energy efficent greenhouse lights; mobile media company Sendandsee; 3D user interface technology firm Rightware; Internet and services company Microtask; Life Sciences company Mendor and Footbalance, maker of custom insoles, are among the 200 companies shortlisted for the awards.
The nominees, chosen from hundreds across Europe, are evaluated on several criteria, including financial performance, technology innovation, management skills, execution of strategy and integration into their respective industries. The assessment is complemented by a review of the actual track record and status of a company.
