Mother Nature Network promotes Finnish cleantech companies as the promise for 2010

The Switch The Switch, a producer of permanent magnet generators, is one of the companies listed on Mother Nature Network.
The widely popular environmental website, Mother Nature Network, promotes the Finnish cleantech sector as the international promise of 2010. Karl Burkart, a green technology specialist writing on the website lists eleven Finnish environmental sector businesses which show promising development for the future.
 
The blogger, who visited Finland recently, lists growth companies with products and services ranging from software for analyzing and improving energy efficiency of businesses to water quality metering and the development of bendy lining for solar panels. The website mentions that Finland is the world’s third most research-intensive country, when the country’s R&D expenses are compared to the country’s gross national product.
 
Mother Nature Network website attracts about 300 000 visitors daily. It is followed also by experts in the Cleantech sector.
