Madventures to mesmerize internationally

The Finnish extreme-travel TV-series ‘Madventures’ will be broadcasted internationally. The third season will be broadcasted on Travel Channel in the United States and well as on Channel Five digital channel ‘Fiver’ in Great Britain.

The third season of Madventures will be broadcasted in English. The trend follows that of another Finnish extreme reality TV-show, Dudesons. The Madventurers, TV-travel guides Tuomas Milonoff and Riku Rantala promote provocative and alternative nature of TV-behaviour. The show is believed to reach millions of viewers.

The producers of Madventures promise that the third season of Madventures will be very adventurous. In the first episode the two brave travel guides will explore the Amazon rainforest and eat monkey brains. The programme does not take its viewers to the usual tourist locations. Its aim is to gain a deeper vision of different cultures and customs, using imagination and controversial attitude to travel.

Madventures launched in the Finnish television in 2002. The extreme travel programme has won several awards in Finland, and has been voted as an all time favourite TV-programme of the Finnish channel, Sub-TV.
