Lindström expands India operations to New Delhi
Textile services company Lindström Group is expanding its operations in India. A new business unit was established in New Delhi in November. The unit will be offering workwear services to local businesses.
- We are currently looking for premises for the new unit. According to our research, there is significant demand for our services in the area, Mika Hartikainen, Lindström's Director of European and Asian Operations, explains.
In order to offer workwear services in New Delhi, a module laundry will be installed into the new business unit. Patented by Lindström in 2002, the module laundry concept allows the company to minimize investment risk and improves mobility, especially in international markets.
Thus far, Lindström has been present in the Indian market in the cities of Chennai and Mumbai. Lindström entered the Indian market in 2007.
