LeftShoe Company to open an outlet in London

The marketing magazine Markkinointi & Mainonta reports that Left Shoe Company, a Finnish company that specializes in shoes made to measure, is expanding its business to London. The company plans to open an outlet to a department store in Knightsbridge.

The company has already acquired customer contacts from London through cooperation with the airline company Virgin Atlantic. A part of the Left Shoe Company collection was on display in the Heathrow airport's VIP lounge.

In addition to the Finnish outlets, Left Shoe Company has expanded its business to Germany and Japan. After conquering London, the company plans on marching to Denmark. Their single company-owned store is located in Helsinki, but the company's goal is to open their own store also in London.

According to Erkan Feree, chief executive officer of Left Shoe Company, people from the other side of the Atlantic have already started ordering the company's products online, and the company has already been probing the North American market, especially in Canada.
