Laitex delivers conveyors to Estonia
Laitex Laitex manufactures all types of mechanical conveyor systems and conveyors.Laitex Oy is an enterprise specialized in the design and manufacture of tailored solutions for materials transfer and handling applications for process industries globally. The company's expertise lies in engineering and manufacture of conveyors and conveyor systems.
Laitex has recently received over a million Euro order from a Swedish company operating internationally. The conveyors and measuring appliances supplied by Laitex will eventually end up in Estonia, where they will be used in power plants which use oil shale in the process of refining combustion gases.
The delivery will take place in early 2010. According to Laitex the contract includes an option of the same extent of equipment delivery for later in 2010.
Laitex, which is located in Lappeenranta in the centre of the South Karelia region in south-east Finland, is metal industry company, which has operated already for over 20 years. It manufactures products, such as conveyors, which are used in industrial transportantion ja handling or materials.
Individual equipment and entire systems supplied by Laitex are used especially in power, wood processing, environmental, chemistry and mining industries all over the world. The company employs approximately 40 experts. The company's turnover last year was 6,4 million Euros, out of which exports constituted about 70 per cent.
