KONE enables people flow in China’s high-rise buildings

KONE continues strengthening its position on the Chinese market. Escalators at the Shanghai Metro City-shopping mall are one of the company’s references.

KONE has published two major deals to China. The company will deliver 42 elevators and 56 escalators for phase 1 of Hang Lung Properties Ltd's Centre 66 development project in Wuxi and 31 elevators and 6 escalators for phase 1 of the Hualongqiao B11 high-rise project in Chongqing, China.

The Centre 55 delivery comprises 22 MonoSpace elevators, 20 MiniSpace elevators and 56 TravelMaster escalators. The combination of these solutions will ensure smooth people flow in the 250-meter-high office tower and the shopping mall.

Centre 66 is located in the Wuxi business district of China's Jiangsu Province. The complex has been designed by Aedas Ltd and it is being developed by Hang Lung Properties Ltd. The project is one of seven developments in mainland China under the "66" brand. Centre 66 is scheduled to open in 2014.

KONE's delivery to the 220-meter-high Hualongqiao B11 tower comprises 25 MiniSpace elevators, 6 MonoSpace elevators, and 6 TravelMaster escalators. The building has been designed by the Chongqing Architectural Design Institute (CADI), and it is being developed by Chongqing Shui On Tiandi Property Development. The high-rise building is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2012.
