Kone, the one of the global leaders in the elevator and escalator industry, has acquired the assets of Quality Elevator in Pennsylvania, US. According to Kone press release, the deal will expand company’s presence in important Pennsylvania markets.

Quality Elevator was founded in 1976, and the company has 35 years of expertise in elevator installation, maintenance, repairs and modernization. It currently employs approximately 65 people. Kone has approximately 33,800 employees around the world, and in 2010 it net sales were EUR 5 billion.
